My 6th graders are still in gym for another 15 minutes and I'm the tiniest bit bored right now...soooooo...what are your plans for the weekend?  Anything WR for the almost marrieds?

I'm heading home after school tomorrow (only live 2 hours away) for a haircut (finally!!!  haven't had one since before Christmas) and my aunt is coming in, as well.  Mom, my aunt, and I are swinging by the hotel where the reception is on Saturday to look at the room again so we can be sure our "vision" will actually work.

FI is preaching on Sunday and I'm so sad I won't be there.  But, in just a few months I'll hopefully be able to be there every time he preaches.  Keep him in your prayers...he gets really nervous whenever he's teaching.  He thinks of it as a good thing...he doesn't want to teach something incorrectly, but the past few months he's started to wonder if he may have a problem with anxiety. Sometimes it's so bad that he feels physically ill and can't eat much that day.

    I'm going to see an apartment listing. EEEEEE. Is it possible to be an equal amount nervous and excited? I think so.

    NWR: FI is out of town until late Sunday so I have to keep myself entertained.  He left earlier today on business.  I have my usual Saturday morning orchestra rehearsal and then an extra rehearsal after that.  

    WR: I'm hoping to get my invitations narrowed down a bit.  I think I must have ordered at LEAST 50 samples from the time I have started looking.  I'm so indecisive!!!

    Oh, and mom and I have to schedule a cake tasting with our 2nd cake person we're interested in, so yeah, gotta update my calendar so I actually know what's coming up.  Things have been hectic and my calendar has gone to PIECES!

    This Saturday FI works so I'll probably work on reception invitations if I don't get them done before then.  :)  Other than that I'm not sure - we'll probably work on a puzzle  or something.

    I will probably sit around the house on Saturday and work on wedding stuff.  I need to update my wedding website and I need to schedule appointments with all of our vendors over FI's spring break (I took vacation at work that week).  I will be trying to get us an appointment with our potential photographer and schedule a cake tasting.  We also need to meet with our DJ (who we've already booked) to talk about song selection and lighting needs, and maybe pay a second payment.

    Wow, sounds like a lot of us are thinking about some wedding stuff this weekend!

    We don't have any plans and it's a 3-day weekend for both of us.  Smile

    Sounds like a good weekend for a lot of you!

    On Saturday we might go to dinner at FI's sister's house

    Sunday (after Bible study, church, etc.) I am going with my FMIL to do a makeup trial for the wedding with her friend who works for Bobbi Brown cosmetics. Then FI and I are going to dinner with his parents at my favorite restaurant in his hometown!

    Oh, I forgot to mention -- I'm going Friday right after school for a make-up appointment with the Clinique counter at Macy's, AND after that I'm going to David's Bridal to pick up my dress from alterations!  I'm SO excited!  Saturday morning I'm getting up extra early to dye my hair.  Gotta have some fun.  I rotate between a "light reddish blonde" and "amber shimmer" or "light golden brown."  My actual natural hair color is so close to "amber shimmer" it's like I didn't even dye my hair, so I know what shade to purchase if I ever don't like my color!  :-) 

    I'm guessing reception invitations are maybe for a separate party.  My Fi's aunt is starting to plan a pre-wedding party that is essentially a reception for OOT-ers who won't be able to come to the wedding for medical / health reasons, or people that just want to meet me for the first time, and people that FI grew up with.  Anyway, so she's calling that a "reception" but it's an OOT reception in April, 3 months before the wedding, in reality.  :-)  I'm just grateful that she actually wants to have a party for us!  (It's not a shower, it's just really a family get-together, and she's aware of the etiquette implications about inviting people to a pre-wedding party).

    NWR: We have a couple's dinner at our church tonight, but nothing planned for the rest of the weekend. Just getting rested up - we're both kinda beat up from skiing earlier this week.

    WR: I have GOT to get thank you notes out. I never had time for the shower ones before the wedding, and with moving and the honeymoon, I'm just now at a place where I can start them. Better start exercising my writing muscles... ;)

    FI is coming home from Haiti tomorrow evening SmileSmileSmile so I came over to his house tonight to straighten it up and clean for him! It was a little messy from his last minute packing, and I know he will stress about it once he gets home, and I just want him to relax!

    Sunday we are going to hear my friend speak about her missions trip to Africa...it will be interesting and great to hear about it!!
