JLA don't stress it! the photog can touch up the zit and you won't look preggo! Even if you do, just don't post those ones on fb. I am not a fan of my e-pics because I'm about 15 pounds lighter now then I was then haha! But the point of them is to get comfy with your photographer so you aren't nervous on your wedding day :) It'll be great. FI will keep you calm and happy :)

Ps Shan that BLOWS I'm sorry :( Have you shared any of your e-pics with us?

ummm...hey just got back.  the photographer didnt show :P  he said he got busy doing chores around the house...seriously.  i have been making the attempt to be in touch with him on things and he has not been to responsive and the photographer attempted to this.  fi and i decided to take him up on his offer of getting out of our contract.  but man excuse the language that really sucks on so many different levels

    No kidding..
    WOW That's horrible.
So you're getting all of your money back? Once you are all done and out of the contract, I would post a "heads up review" on your local board to warn other brides... I would want to know about that photographer's flakeyness before I considered him.

Yeah I don't blame you... I would be royally ticked. We met with a photographer that was great here in WA but she totally forgot about our appointment to meet the first time so we gave her the second chance but we just... couldn't go with her. H didn't trust that it wouldn't happen again. But ya know what? Our photographer turned out to be incredible. I'm so glad we didn't go with that girl that was flakey. Totally a disguised blessing because I don't think anyone would have matched us and photographed out wedding better than the photographer we ended up with.
Stay positive. You can find another one that will be better, and even cheaper now that you are a master researcher of vendors ;)

I'm so late on this one but i"m with the others. If they were flakey you don't want to deal with that at the wedding. We have a great photographer who I adore. FTL put it nicely about finding their fit. There is one out there for you and it aparen't wasn't the one you planned on taking photos with. You will find one though that fits who you guys are and can capture what you want/who you are for your epics and your wedding.

I would def post a review and also look for photographers that belong to your local alliance or association or that belong to the PPA (Professional Photographers of America). If you photographer is in that group you should also consider posting a review/experience there, because they can get removed etc for unprofessional experiences such as missing appointments and such if there are enough complaints. Also not all photographers are listed there and they have requirements they need to meet for recognition.

That is fantastic... I mean.. The situation sucks but I'm so glad to hear that he gave your deposit back in full. GL with the photographer hunting... I'm sorry you have to go redo the search, but it'll be worth it to know you have a reliable photographer the day of!

Bumps happen when it comes to wedding planning. Every time we hit a bump (didn't happen too often) I just said, hey, let it happen now so that the day of goes smoothly! Things will definitely get better :) I know this may put you in a planning slump, but you'll pull yourself out. Promise!
