Cakes/Sweets

Has anyone used Peterson's in Hoffman Estates?  The online reviews seem to be good, but just wondering if there are any personal references.  Also, we are looking for cupcakes....awesome cupcakes.  Any suggestions. The bakery would need to deliver to Barrington.  thanks all!

    I am biased towards Molly's Cupcakes in LP.  I have also been researching cupcakes for a birthday party and surprisingly, Bittersweet Bakery cupcakes are very reasonable.  Given how expensive their wedding cakes are, this is a nice surprise (their basic cupcake is only $2.75).  I was also surprised how reasonable Sarah's candies was.  Other city bakeries I am looking at include:

    Flirty Cupcakes
    Alliance Bakery
    Angel Food bakery
    Swirlz
    Fritz Bakery
    Bleeding Heart Bakery
    Sweet Mandy B's
    Phoebe's cupcakes

    Flirty Cupcakes is a mobile store, so they might deliver out that way.

    We did a cupcake tour last year and my favorite was Twisted Sister bakery in Old Town.  No idea if they will deliver, but if you are picky about frosting - this place ROCKS!
