PSA: $149 Boudoir Session on Rue La La (XP)

I got an email this morning that VJ Boudoir is offering a $149 or $299 boudoir one-hour photoshoot package (with or without hair/makeup). I'm not into this, but I know a lot of ladies like to give this to their FI as a wedding gift. The link is below.

What kind of reward do you get? Probably not the best place to post this, although I know you are just trying to be helpful. This board has a no soliciting policy, you can wait and see if the mods delete it.

Also, may be helpful to post the details to save people time and effort of joining something just to find out more, what does the cost get you? Just the photography? Then is there "back end" selling?

People post PSA's for these types of websites all the time. Sites like Rue La La, Beyond the Rack, Ideeli and others have discounts for their members. You join the site & when you make a purchase, the person who referred you gets credit to use on the website. The amount varies by website. I purposely mentioned it that way if someone isn't comfortable with that, they can just go & join the site by themselves & I'll have nothing to do with it.

Exactly. A few people, myself included, posted about the Rue La La bridal sale on the other boards. It's nice to help each other out!

I honestly don't care what you post, but if you are personally benefiting from it (getting a perk if people sign up), isn't it solicitation? Perhaps I should post some pay per click google wedding vendor ads here to put some cash in my pocket.

That's exactly why I put the disclaimer at the bottom & people can access the site without any credit to me. I'm guessing it's not in violation of the TOS since our lovely mod hasn't removed it, or the other similar post above.
