If you were going off for a four-day work conference a few hours from home (same state), would you miss your H so much that you would plan to have phone sex/sexting/webcam communication while you were OOT?

Also, would you miss your H "too much" if you were gone four days?

Assume the following: you've been married more than a year; you have no kids; your conference is in a fun city w/lots to do; and you love the coworkers you're going with.

Do not assume this is about me, b/c you know I love me some free time away from H.

    Well, when I travel there is often sexting, phone sex, and the occasional Skype, but I wouldn't describe it as missing him "too much."

    I may do the phone sex thing if I suddenly got horny, but it wouldn't be preplanned.
    I go on vacation for 2 weeks a year without DH and neither one of us have any problem with it.   We enjoy the time apart.   I get to do what I want to do on vacation, and he gets the house to himself.  Win-win.

    Nah.  I love having my alone time.  I wouldn't even miss him, until maybe the 3rd day.

    Nope. I missed him some, but nothing that bad. We just talked on the phone like normal adults at the end of the day.

    I have not either, Wzz.  Well, not without uncontrollable fits of laughter.  To me, sex is a doing thing and I can be doing without all of the conversation.

    I probably wouldn't really miss him until the 3rd day, and then I'd be seeing him so soon it wouldn't matter.

    We've traveled separately. The summer before our wedding, he was gone Mon-Thurs every week. I missed him, but I loved my alone time.

    4 days, really? I barely expect a phone call if H is only going to be gone for 4 days.

    No missing here.  DH and I would call every night, but we were also never in fun cities.  Unless you count Brewton, Al; Pontiac, Quebec; and I can't remember the other Alabama place they sent me.  The place did have the airline luggage lost and found of the world though.  Interesting place.

    I've never had the phone sechs.

    I call H on a daily basis when I am OOT, and yes, I miss him - but nothing that is unbearable. I enjoy my alone time.

    No.  When I'm out of town, we usually talk in the evening and we may text off and on.  I like my alone time on the road and I really like spending time hanging out with colleagues I don't see often.

    No, I would be ecstatic to get away on my own.   

    And I would be ecstatic to see DH when I got home.

    4 days is like the perfect amount of time for a getaway/work trip/whatever.

    I don't know that I'd miss him "too much", but I think it would be spicy fun to do a little sexy skyping. I'd look forward to that - but also to sleeping in a bed that didn't smell like farts.
