I have the tour and love it, FI has the Curve. The Tour is the only global phone that can be used overseas if needed. I kind of like the Curve's keyboard better, but the Tour's internet is much faster and the camera is better. I've heard horror stories about the Storm touchscreen. I guess it all depends on what you're looking for, but I'm very happy with my Tour
I work for VZW. I would go with the Bold. Its basically the newer version of the Tour, its just that RIM has decided each company should have the same phone name. Although the curve is an awesome phone it doesnt have as good of a camera and it also doesnt have global. So if you plan on going over seas I would think about that. Can I ask why you have decided to stick with BB instead of an android phone? I am not plugging, but I actually used a droid and the internet is so awesome. If you use that alot maybe you should check it out when your at the store tonight.
I have the curve and think its great. The main complaint my dad (who travels international) has with the tour is with the little rolling ball thing. He prefers my touch pad on the curve to the rolling ball.
My brother is due for an upgrade and he can get a second BB free, which is why I'm looking into this over a Droid or an iPhone or other things. I would've definitely looked into the Droid otherwise. MH has pre-ordered the iPhone for himself (I'm actually on my family's Verizon plan, and MH was on his own, but he's fed up with Verizon for various reasons).
Overseas capabilities is a big must ... I'm going to London next month and meeting up with my family in Ireland. So I need a phone that can call them and FIL while we're in London and they're all in the US, then be able to call them in Ireland while we're in London, then call when we arrive in Ireland so we can meet up. (Got all that? :P)
Got it lol. I would go with the Bold. I have given it to some of the employees here and they love it. Its the newest, so if thats an option go with it. The Storm 2 is much better than the storm 1. The Touc Screen doesnt freeze and is more senstive to touch. Tell DH that I am sorry he has had issues with VZW. I feel like its luck of the draw with your CS rep when you have an issue.
I know that the Bold is the new Tour on VZW as Danes said, but I just wanted to add that I have the Tour and I used it overseas (India) a few months ago and it was great! Definitely handy to have and I was able to keep in touch as if I were still state-side.
FI and I both have the Tour and we absolutely love it! We've never had problems with it. I've heard horrible things about the Storm, but like Danes said if the Bold is the new Tour might as well go with the newer one!
When I bought my bb, I got the Tour because i was told it's the only one with international capabilities. I love it and have no complaints.
If the Bold is the new Tour and also is able to be used internationally, I'd probably pick that one -- but I think you may have to wait till you get to the store to see which one feels better in your hand/which keyboard seems set up the best for you.

I know a lot of people have complaints about the BB Storm but I have had mine for over a year and I love it. FI has BB Tour and I hate using his phone. After a while the track ball becomes an issue.
The Storm (1) is AWFUL!! I had to download a few different apps just to get it to work properly (e.g., an app that simulates a battery pull in the middle of the night to limit freezing). The salesperson tried to convince me to get the Tour, and I should have listened.
I've heard the Storm 2 is much better though, and I think that's what they sell now. H has a Curve for work. He likes it.
