Looking for a Rustic Wedding Venue

Hi,

I'm getting married in the fall (September/October) and my fiance & I want a rustic feel wedding. We are paying for it ourselves so we don't have a whole lot of money.

Can anyone suggest any venues or places to have the country/rustic feel in the Houston area?
I would love an old chapel for the ceremony but my fiance would like something on the water.

Thank you in advance

  • what is your budget?
I recently saw a new venue called Olde Dobbin Station and they are still finishing it ip but they have picture of it so far online and on facebook and it seems to be like a rustic chic venue, I really like it.

Its $6500 to rent on a saturday, $4500 for a sunday

We havent really set a budget. My fiance is one of those, we want it he will make sure we get it. But I would like around $20k.
  • Check the Crystal Springs venues.  They have several in Houston. All are rustic and beautiful.  I was in a wedding at one in Magnolia.  They have a gazebo that is rustic but also plenty of room inside if the wedding needed to be held inside.  They also allow you to select your own catering. You have to hire a bar tender but you can supply the liquor. My friend spent well under your budget there.

    La Tranquila may work
    Northwest Forest Conference Center
  • Try Oak Tree Manor in Spring - we're getting married there in November, and they're realllllyyy reasonable! And it's beautiful - you have to do a Google image search of the pictures of the venue. Send me a PM if you want more info :)

  • I agree with Oak Tree Manor - I'm getting married there in October.
