Navy for Spring/Summer WEdding??

Hi All!

Very new to the wedding blogging, but figured it was worth a shot! My tentative date isn't until June, 2013, but that's ok!
Question: is it ok to do Navy bridesmaids dresses for a spring/summer evening wedding?? I love navy and think it would look so nice. Thanks!!

    I had Navy...I got married in October...BUT, that is my favorite color so I would have had it whenever I got married.  I don't see why not as that could be nautical which is that time of year.

    I think navy is fine and you should pick what you like!! My cousin just got married and her BMs wore navy dresses and carried pink roses.  It looked really nice :) Navy is great because you can pair it with so many pretty, feminine colors.

    Do whatever color you want. I'm getting married in September & I'm doing black BM dresses.

    Pink flowers with navy dresses look amazing in pictures!

    I know someone who got married in June and had navy BM dresses with white flowers. Very beautiful.

    I had navy in August with light pink flowers. The guys were in gray. I can send you pictures if you'd like- I thought it looked wonderful!

    I think it's a really classy color that works any time of year, especially if you're going for black tie and more elegant.  I'm having indigo and darker blues for my wedding and its Labor Day weekend 2012.  Do anything you want, it's your wedidng and you can choose what you want!

    Navy is a classic color for any season. The flowers will make it feel more seasonal. I am doing Navy for my August wedding. Love it, as do my bridesmaids. The guys are wearing tan suits.
