Did any of you see the article on CNN yesterday for Beyaz? It's a version of Yaz that also contains folic acid. The theory is that when women stop taking the pill they're bodies will be better prepared for pregnancy. I personally think this is pretty awesome.
Here's the article:

x2. LOL
That is a pretty good idea.
It is a good idea, but I'd never take Yaz. It's for more severe symptoms associated with periods, and has some nasty side effects (like kidney stones). I'd be happy if my birth control had folic acid, but I drink so much orange juice on a daily basis anyway that it's probably not a big deal.
For me it'd be a good idea because I suck at taking supplements. I have an alarm on my phone for my birth control but rarely ever take the vitamins or fish oil that I have. Not that I have any good excuse for not taking them, I just don't.

I did this when I was on the pill. For about a year after I stopped taking it and started taking Depo, I would sometimes stop randomly at 8pm and think "I should be doing something."</div>
I also have a phone alarm set. I'm on the mini-pill, so I can't be more than an hour late with it. Grumble, grumble.

The party setting where 5 girls are sitting around nonchalantly listing the side-effects like the voice over you hear on car commercials???
PUH----LEASE!
Whoever is in charge of their PR sucks.
