Are you supposed to send out thank you notes after your bachelorette party?

I would say yes, especially if they are treating you with dinner/drinks. I don't know if its expected but I am a huge fan of thank you notes and send them for most occasions:)

I guess it depends on who is putting it on for you. My understanding was the bridal gifts covered that type of stuff as a whole of thank you for everything? I guess a card would be good though.

I have never received a thank you note for attending a bachelorette party. And I wouldn't expect one either. If they gave you gifts and stuff, sure. I am sending thank you notes for people that went to my bachelorette party because they also did a little shower for me as well, so it's more of a general bridal gift thank you note.

I did. I obviously was unable to take care of myself, so i basically sent out thank you cards to say "thanks for my party, and for making sure i didnt end up dismembered in a gutter"

I think that if you're wondering if you should send a thank you, then maybe you should. It's never wrong to send a thank you for something that someone does for you. I don't think I'd send one to every girl that attended, but I'd send one to anyone who contributed money, coordinated things, etc. I'm big on thank you cards though, so maybe that's just me. I'm also the type of person who sends "just thinking of you" cards and the like, so maybe I'm just a sap like that.

Yes. I did. But I thought I should personalize them a bit, too. So I also sent "thanks for finding my clothes for me" "thanks for admitting to strangers, that yes, you actually WERE with me" "thanks for making an ass out of yourself along with me so I wasnt the only one" and "thanks for making my bachelorette party so painful, that I cant even think about ever getting married again"
