Dress designers under $1000?

What are some of the dress designers that have gowns priced under/around $1000 other than those found at David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo?

TIA

Alot of designers you can get through discounted sellers.  Pearl's Place, Netbride, Lee Phillips Bridal, and RK Bridal are often used and reputable.   Netbride will give you quotes online via email for dresses you want pricing on.

With that being said, I'm not sure of designers under $1000.  I think some Maggie Sottero's are around that price. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I thought all of the dresses at Davids Bridal were?  If you hit a bridal store on a trunk show they usually discount the dress also or go to a sample sale.

Re: Maggie Sottero, I guess it depends on the material. I had my eye on an all-lace one that was over $1K, but I bought a taffetta one that was just under $1K.

I think that Casablanca and Mori Lee might have some under $1K. Also try Forever Yours, Jessica McClintock, Da Vinci, PC Mary's. The WToo line from Watters will probably be under a thousand if you get it through a wholesale place like Chelsea mentioned.

My dress is from the Oleg Cassini Collection. I got my dress at Davids Bridal, it was originally $1000 but paid $250 since it's discountinued. I was very lucky since this is the first place we went with my mom, and this was the 5th dress I tried on and everyone that was there loved it so much, we had to buy it, plus the bridal consultant in wayne, can't remember her name, she was so helpful and with lots of patience. The gown was never tried on before either and just champagne color, I did not want white at all.
Now, I do need alterations since I am so short, just the lenght and I know that's a little pricy.

    good luck

I purchased my Watters Wtoo gown from Mademoiselle in Westfield and it was $800, and I'm almost positive most of the Wtoo gowns were under $1000.

I definitely saw plenty of designers that had dresses over $1k as well as under $1k - Maggie Sottero, Private Label by G, Casablanca, Demetrios, Mori Lee, Paloma Blanca, Sophia Tolli to name a few.

I'm sure any bridal salon you go to, you can tell them you're looking for something under $1k and they can easily help you pick out dresses in your budget.

I found my dress under 1000, including alterations. From Allure Bridals. Check with your local store they should have dresses under a thousand. I had tried on some maggie dresses that were under a thousand too.

My dress was a Casablanca and it was only $800.  I actually liked several Casablanca dresses in the 1k (give or take) price range, and I wasn't even particularly looking for a dress that inexpensive.  I think they are nice dresses that don't look anywhere near as cheap as they are.

My dress is a Casablanca and was closer to $1300, so there's definite ranges. But if you shop around, you can probably find a $1300 dress somewhere for $1000.

Chelsea- that's so funny that yours is also a Casablanca! I LOVE it! I even think to myself that if I had tried that one on I probably would have bought it.  Yet another Casablanca dress that I can add to the list of ones I love in an affordable price range.  The other dresses I love are Priscilla of Boston, but I wouldbn't even let myself walk in that store.

I'm positive that the price of the dress has a lot to do with the fabric. My dress is radiant taffeta which I know is fairly inexpensive.

My Maggie Sottero was $1000 and it was the most expensive dress that I tried on.  I also tried on some beautiful Casablanca's under $1k and one of my friends bought a gorgous Paloma Blanca in that range.  I got my dress at Cinderella Bridals (in Matawan) and after I bought it, went looking for the same dress online to get an idea of other prices for it, and every other price for my dress was a few hundred more than I paid.  Cinderella Bridals has alot of beautiful gowns under $1k.  Keep in mind that I did order my dress 2 years ago, so I guess prices may have gone up some since then.

My dress is Private Label by G and it was just $1,000.  I'm assuming that they woukd then have styles that are a little more and a little less.  I got it at Russell's Bridal in Linden, NJ and I highly recommend them.

Bridal Garden in Manhattan has beautiful dresses.  They also donate some of their proceeds to a charity to help children.

And if you're looking for something that isn't super formal, some bridesmaid dress designers have "bridal alternative" collections.  Jenny Yoo and Thread do.

Filene's basement running of the brides - most dresses for $250.  I'm going to check it out, but later in the day as I don't think I can tolerate the morning craze.
