Wilmington e-pics

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for a good place in Wilmington to take our engagement pictures, I'm not familiar with the area. We're taking them sometime in December so it will be kind of cold. I was hoping for somewhere in the downtown area that isn't packed with people but still pretty. Any ideas?

    Anywhere on the riverwalk/downtown will be pretty. Airlie gardens will be decorated for the holidays too...very pretty!...and no matter how cold it is, you could always take a few on the beach :)

    We took ours along the River Walk, at Front House Brewery (FI is a homebrewer), along a few side streets with interesting architectural details and then drove to Greenfield Park for some other non-city shots. If your photographer is from the area, they should know so good spots for you. We wanted more of a city-feel to our E pics since we're having a beach wedding.

    We're getting married on Kure Beach, so we had some of our shots taken on the beach by the pier, and some taken on the Riverwalk and in the surrounding neighborhoods, like PP said.  There's a lot of really good architecture downtown, too!

    There are alot of old homes downtown that you could go to. There is alot of warehouses that you could pose infront of downtown. There is a great pier in Wrightsville Beach.
