Dark Spot Corrector

I have some dark spots near my chin/jawline from previous breakouts.  Any suggestions for effective treatments for removing dark spots?  I'd do home remedies or store bought products - as long as it works!

    Chemical peels can help with dark spots.  I know one of the ingredients in the chemical peels my esthetician gives me is supposed to clear up dark spots, but I don't recall which one...lactic acid perhaps?
