Are there any stores in the area that do ring engravings by hand instead of by machine?

The wedding ring I want can't be engraved by the place we plan to purchase it from because the band is too thin for their engraving machines.  The woman I spoke to said we may be able to get it engraved at a brick and mortar store where they do engravings by hand.

Does anyone know of places here in Jersey that do that and/or how much it costs?

    I know the jewelry exchange in Woodbridge engraves, but I don't know if it is machine or by hand

    They use a machine (that's where I bought FI's wedding ring).

    I would try calling Gemsmith in Toms River, they are more of a specialty jewelry store so they might be able to do it.

    There is a guy in the Diamond District in NYC.  Hes on the first floor, next to Dennis Dalton
