Good deals

We should post deals for other brides in our area. Bed Bath and Beyond had red chargers on sale for $2.99 a box.

I got my Maggie Sottero wedding dress at Atlas when they had their $99 sample sale.  It was regularly $1200.  It is exactly what I wanted.  I love it so, so much.  If you are still in need of a dress or accessories, I would add Atlas as a friend on Facebook.  They have deals often and always post about them.

Also, Libbey glass has some awesome deals.  Make sure if you go there to get coupons! They always have them!

I got my table numbers in the Wedding Classifieds.  I love them, and they were over half off the original price.

We are getting a pretty good deal at President's Tuxedo.  $120 for each groomsman, $80 for the dads, and the groom is free.

I've gotten a TON of good deals on stuff. Here's just a few:

I too got my dress at the Atlas sale. $99 for a dress that was $600+ (It's a Bonny dress)

We are semi-DIYing our reception food (we're buying the supplies and a friend's mom & aunt are doing the cooking). I got 50 pounds of frozen chicken breast at Meijer for what equaled about $1.50/lb. and last week when they had their ground beef on sale for $1.99 my mom talked to the meat manager and asked if they could get us an even better deal because we'd be buying 50 lb of that as well and we got it for $1.81/lb.

Got all of my tablecloths and runners for free (well over $400 worth) from LinenTablecloth.com by winning Twitter contests and getting gift certificates. I ended up with 30+ each of tablecloths and runners and  have enough left over that I'm letting my sister's friend order things she needs to use up the balance of the gift cards.

I really don't think I've paid full price for anything (or maybe very few things) I've bought for the wedding. I love saving money.

Thanks Rak! I love free stuff! Also if anyone else is looking to do the same, the company does their Twitter contests on only Friday now and they're usually $100 GCs, but you can only win once per month.

Chicadelpadre- What great deals you've managed to get!! I am impressed! When you get linens from linentablecloth.com, do you have to return them or are they yours to keep?

First, sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you - my computer broke last weekend. You can only buy the linens from linentablecloth.com, so they're yours to keep. I'm hoping to be able to sell them after the wedding, probably for fairly cheap since I essentially paid nothing but time to sit on Twitter for them.
