Vietnamese brides in RI/MA - Where to look locally for ao dais

I am planning on having my bridesmaids and myself wearing ao dais for the wedding. I would rather not order online and would like to go to a shop instead. Are there actually any vietnamese bridal shops?

Did you also ask this on the Rhode Island board. This board can be pretty dead. I cannot find a Vietnamese Bridal Shop in your area. Can you sew? Then you could buy a pattern and fabric and make one.

Maybe you should rather make a trip to NYC and get it done there? I'm pretty sure, they have stores their - you get better selection and prices and such. My mother bought me the material for the ao dai while she was in Vietnam this year. We will take it to a viet seamstress in Philly and have her make the dress though.

I'm having mine made in Vietnam and hoping to send it back with some friends/family. NYC isn't so great either, but I know Philly is better with that.
