Advice for outdoor bridal photo session

Hello  :)!

I'm having my bridal pics done outdoors ( in a garden). Any advice in general ( not just advice for the outdoors- i.e.  besides wear sunscreen?) Muchas gracias!

I brought a white sheet to stand or sit on in case the ground was dirty in a place we wanted to take pics.

Ditto to the sheet idea. Make sure you bring your bottle of hairspray and plenty of bobby pins, especially if you're in west Texas. We got a HUGE wind storm the day we did my portraits, and I would have been sunk if I didn't have those on hand. We probably added a dozen to my hair when the wind started, so when I say bring a lot, I don't mean 5. I mean at least 20...

I was just a MOH and at my bride's outdoor photo shoot we were very happy to have something for her to stand on in the grass. We had a large trash bag, but a white sheet would have worked too.

Also be prepared to take your veil off if the wind gets too crazy. My bride's veil was all over the place! When we couldn't get a picture without the veil flying in her face, we finally just took it off.

just took our engagement pictures outdoors a week ago and out of 100 pictures that were took that day there were only 20 that didn't ether have my hair flying up, my curls flattening or our eyes closed from the wind so be prepared.
TIP: when the photographer is about to snap a pic be very aware of your eyes and make sure they are open and not squinting
