Trash the dresss?

I am thinking about doing a trash the dress session after the wedding. My fiance was like you sure you want to do that!! I think it would be GREAT. I'm never going to wear the dress again and I can always get it to the cleaners right after.

Let me know what you think??????

I was thinking of doing this when we go on our HM to Jamaica... but I am soooo not sure because I don't know if I actually can just "take it to the cleaners" and it will come out just as perfect as it was. THAT's the only thing holding me back. On the other hand, TTD is a great idea.. you get some really beautiful/unique pictures!

The cleaners can only do so much. On delicate fabric like a wedding dress, if it gets stained, it's probably stained forever. If you're planing on keeping it in nice condition, don't do it!

I've hear of this, but I'm not sure I would personally go through with it. I would want to preserve my dress in perfect condition and not sure if the cleaners would get it back to original condition

its super fun!!! here is a few we did of one of our brides.  Remember you dont have "trash" it you just want to have fun in it.  Water, beach, etc will come out!  Mud might come out, Paint.....well;)  This one we entitled Dress Destruction and was featured on the Today Show!

    Have Fun!

Trash the dress sessions are also SO much fun! I'm a photographer and do recommend it if you want some more unique images than you will get on your wedding day. If you are careful with it on a TTD day you will be able to get the imperfections cleaned. Mud can be tough so watch out for that one but a little dirt, water or sand will come out. Your photogrpaher can be careful as well with things for you to sit on so that you don't get unremovable stains from your dress! I always say...unless you want to save the dress for say a daughter to wear or just for the sentimental value of having a perfectly preserved wedding dress...you won't wear it again. A little grass stain under the hem won't really matter once it's cleaned and boxed! Enjoy your TTD if you decide to go for it!
