saturday bridal showers

What is a good time to have a saturday shower? Would you prefer earlier or later? FI's mom wants the shower at noon, I'd prefer at least 1:00 pm.

    I don't think an hour makes a big difference.  If she is hosting it and wants it at noon, I would just do noon.  If I was going to a Saturday shower, either time would be fine.  I wouldn't complain unless it was 10am.  Even at noon you still get to sleep in!

    I'm going to agree with PP that the host gets to decide....that being said, for what it's worth, my shower was on a Saturday, and it started at 11:30.  I was a little surprised it was so early, but it ended up working out nicely for everybody, especially guests who had to drive a little farther etc.  good luck!

    Agree with PP. We are going to have a Saturday shower and I would say do middle of the day around noon or 1 because that gives people time to sleep in and also allows them to have the evening to go out.
