    We went to Jamaica for our honeymoon but we went to Negril.  We stayed at Couples Negril.  Loved it!  People were great but I would avoid the craft markets.  The people are relentless and its the same crap in each stand.  We went to visit 9 Mile one day - where Bob Marley was born.  It was a great way to see more of the country.

    I stayed at Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton 2 years ago. H and I had a great time. The resort is somewhere between Montego Bay and Negril and is isolated from other resorts. We liked this aspect of it since all of their 3 beaches on the resort where private. So you did not get people trying to sell you souvenirs or drugs on the beach. H did get asked within 5 minutes of us being in the country though, while we were walking to our shuttle bus that brought us to our hotel. Overall we really liked the resort. I recommend upgrading to the villa suites.

    H and I stayed at the Iberostar Grand for our anniversary in November.  We had a great time and the resort was fantastic.  The resort is secluded and nobody from outside the resort was on the beach trying to sell things.  We went ziplining through Chukka tours and went to the Luminous Lagoon one night.  Both excursions were a lot of fun.

    We went for valentines day 2 years ago and stayed at the riu . It was awesome . Definitely do the booze/ cruise with snorkeling to margheritaville. It was so much fun ! We went off the resort . Just stick by your man . Oh and try to use cash only . Our credit card numbers got stolen and we had insane Charges . Luckily the bank figured it out and it was fine.

    We just went there in Sept for our honeymoon. Stayed at Secrets Wild Orchid. The people there were nothing but friendly. The food was amazing. We did an excursion to the Montego Bay Margaritaville via catamaran. Super fun time. Go and enjoy yourself!
