Inviation Address for a Lord

I have a friend who has the title of Lord but his wife is not a Lady. I've tried googling it and I can't figure it out. Would it be Lord Dofus and Mrs Vicky Snootypants?

At least after all of this I now know without a doubt that I have interesting friends.

[QUOTE]Not possible.  "Lord" isn't a title.  Is he an earl, a viscount, a baron?  What country?

<div>It seems like it is on Downton Abbey! Just kidding, I have no idea about this. I'm sure CMGr will have good advice.</div>

[QUOTE]In Response to Inviation Address for a Lord : I'm still giggling about this part.

<div>LOL I thought that was funny too. My first thought was "Lord and Broad Snootypants". </div>
  • I'll be sure to tell him that the title he paid an arm and a leg to achieve is deemed impossible.
The summers I spent in Great Britain I was introduced to several Lords and Ladies. But those were my teenaged years so it was a long time ago.
I'll just wing it I suppose since no one knows what to do. What's he gonna do if I screw it up? Heck, would he even know?
I also have a Duchess to deal with so I do have strange friends who seem to like to purchase titles.
These are all legal, legit titles. Meaningless true but still an earned title.

  • I have no answer to your question but Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend "purchased" a "Lord" title. That alone tells me such a practice is eye roll worthy.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
