What ideas are you stealing from other knotties/brides/blogs?

I have a ton of ideas that have come from others. A few...

1. i want to have a food cart roll up for a late night snack (hot dogs or ice cream probably)

2. i want food stations. probably his (mexican), hers (italian) and ours (american).

3. i want to make like a million DIY things I've seen (PIP).

4. I want my maids to be in varying shades of a color instead of all the same.

All of my ideas are originals.

hahah Just kidding. I've been collecting ideas so long I don't actually know what was my idea and what was stolen.

I did the paper doll thingy for my BMs, which I had never heard of but saw on the DIY board. Just mailed them Monday. No one's called to say they got them yet, so maybe they will tomorrow.

Hmmm, nothing is set in stone, but for now I am planning on:

Non-floral bouquets (origami flowers or pinwheels)
A monster-esque card holder.
Pro-picture of me and FI holding up a picture frame (borrowed from a lovely offbeat knottie)
film-strip STDs
Colored wedding dress

I'm sure there are more, and will be more, but those are all I can think off.

This. I think most of my ideas are mine, but my wedding does lean a little farther to the traditional side than most others on this board, so you could theoretically argue that all of my ideas are stolen from someone who's done it before, lol.

oh goodness...what's not stolen?

i made napkin rings, personalized napkins, paper flowers, origami flowers, flip flop basket...too many to remember.

one of my originals is my beer bottle centerpieces...i need to get around to AW'ing those because i promised a couple people...

We are having a signature beer and wine list.
He is a beer drinker and I'm a wine drinker.

The guest book will be a photo of us with matting for them to sign.

Right now .. I'm thinking of just doing bbq for our beach wedding.. where I'm a bit of a foodie.. so I kind of cringe..

I feel like we have a lot of original ideas, but yeah, looking at so much wedding porn on a daily basis, who knows where some of my ideas actually came from! LOL
