I thought I'd introduce myself since I've been lurking on this board for a while. I'm Ashleigh and FI is Travis. We're getting married May 26, 2012. I'm a fairly regular poster on the May 2012 board, but have just been reading posts here. I'm excited to get to know you ladies!

    Welcome and thanks for the intro.  What have you already planned for your wedding?  It is hard to believe that May 2012 is less than a year away!  How did you meet?  How long ago did you get engaged?

    <div>Thanks for all the 'welcomes'! To answer all the questions, I actually have most of my wedding planned. We've been engaged since December 29, 2010 (two days before my 21st birthday), and I'm starting my senior year of college next week. With all that said, I pretty much had to get most of the wedding stuff done this summer before I move back to school. (FI and I are long-distance when I'm at school.) We're getting married at FI's church and FI's dad is our pastor. Our colors are lavender and chocolate brown. I have my dress, and it just needs to be altered. The photographer is booked (love her!), and most everything else has been decided, if not already booked. I'm definitely a DIY bride, as well, so I've done all my flowers already, and most of the other decorations. </div><div>

    FI and I are both from (and live in) Mobile.  I'm a "big city" girl, lol.  I used to hang out in Pensacola on the weekends sometimes because taxes are lower and the mall is bigger, lol.
