FOB/FOG Tux Match?

Hey Ladies!
So Chris and I got everything arranged through Men's Wearhouse for the tuxes, but we're debating right now about the FOB/FOG tuxes. My dad already has a tux, so he really just needs either a bow tie & cumberbund or tie and vest. We're using a tie and vest (although my dad looks better in a cumberbund) for the groom & his men, so we figure our dads should wear the same. However, both of our moms have their dresses already, and we don't know what the protocol is for color matching. Should the FOB/FOG match the groomsmen? Or match their wife's attire? My mom will be wearing seafoam green and his will be in navy blue. The color of my bridesmaid dresses and the groomsmen's vest is a deep teal (the exact color is Oasis from DB). What do you all think?

EDIT: Chris is wearing either platinum or white (he's undecided, its quite cute actually. lol)

    My fiance is wearing an ivory vest, his groomsman are also wearing a deep teal to match my bridesmaids, and we are having FOB and FOG wear a champagne colored vest to match our wedding colors, but not match the groomsman.  The fathers are not matching their wives.

    I think it's just a matter of how much you care about little details. My FSIL had both fathers match, but I just don't really care. In my opinion, they aren't wedding party and as long as one isn't in bright green and another in orange, it's fine with me. My dad also owns a tux and I wasn't going to have him to rent stuff just to match my FFIL.

    I don't think they have to match but like PP its personal preference, my FOB/FOG aren't matching the wedding party

    There is no right or wrong answer here so it really boils down to what you want! We are having the dads match the groomsmen.

    Caitlin, are you having the fathers match the groomsmen because you consider them part of the wedding party? Or because it was simpler? FI and I are going round and round on this and its starting to make us mad at each other. Seriously though, I guess if all we have to fight about is the color of our dad's tux accessories we have to be doing something right, ... right?
