Recommendations

I have noticed the board has been slow and I wanted to see if anyone had suggestions on how to make the board more active. Games? Polls? Suggestions? Thanks ladies

Re: Recommendations

  • Maybe a topic or QOTD?

I was thinking of the QOTD? Kinda like a spin off of what we do on the June 2012 board

  • A lot of the "regulars" got married this last summer and we haven't had quite same the number of brides coming in to replace that. I can think of four or five regular, everyday posters that we lost.

  • As for suggestions to make it more busy, I noticed my poll got quite a few responses, so people are here, they're just lurking and not saying anything. They need something to discuss!

  • I like QOTD and polls.  It's probably also been slow because of the holidays.  I was off-line for a week when DH and I went OOT for New Years.  Hopefully this week things will perk back up.

  • I think semi-controversial topics are what makes it the most lively. It's always interesting to me to discuss Christian things with such a wide range of belief systems under one over-arching religion.

<div>I love these discussions. I think the fact that we have them every once in a while is the reason I've stuck around...</div>

  • I like the polls! And anytime someone talks about Christian music. I love music. I usually try to stay out of the controversial conversations because I am one of those people who really dislikes conflict haha.

I agree, I live in a bit of a bubble and it's neat to hear what other peoples' opinions are.  I also know I have different views/beliefs than a lot of girls on here, so it's nice to see something different.

I've been offline for a few weeks with holidays but back to the grind now.

I ditto more QOTDs or other such conversation-starting topics - wedding, Christianity, or life-based.
  • Thanks for all the suggestions! If anyone wants to start a poll or discussion topic, the floor is always open
