Yay! Just booked my wedding date 10/7/12! Looking for a great photographer who is affordable and maybe also offers videographer packages too...any suggestions? We are getting married at my Greek church in Lowell followed by reception at the Henderson House in Weston MA....
Anyone heard of Aphrodite photography? We are checking out her....though a little pricey (3k)....I like a mix of candids and still posed shots...

    I am using Steve DeCarlo for my videography, he's not a combo photographer/videographer but he's very reasonably priced for videography. He does videography as a side job, and I actually work with him at his full-time day job so I can vouch that he's an awesome guy!

    600-700 for places like Waves or Rebecca Curtis. Prices only go up from there...

    Are you looking for a videographer just for the ceremony or the whole event?  Sometimes you can get someone really affordably if it's just ceremony

    Wasn't impressed with John LoConte and my exchanges with him via e-mail. I'm not having a traditional wedding, and he was entirely inflexible.  I don't need 8 hours, but his packages start with that.  Not sure he'd be the most flexible/cost effective guy to deal with.  Wasn't at all impressed by him.....

    Berry photos or Amanda Perkins Photography from NH. We used Rebecca Curtis (www.curtisweddings.com), I think our package was like $675? We used Amanda and she was $1000. I recommend both highly.

    Everyone has already mentioned AVWaves for videography and I second that... but I just wanted to add that I believe AVWaves and Portrait New England have teamed up to offer packages that include photography and videography at a discount for booking both. I used Portrait New England for my wedding last July and they were great to work with. They are also very reasonable so even if the two haven't teamed up, it may be a good idea to check them out.

    We are using Berry Photos and I am more than thrilled.  Their packages are amazing.  We did the platinum package, got our engagement session for free and the rights to all of those photos, we are having a guest book made from all of our baby pictures up to engagement, they made our save the dates, and there is a ton included in our wedding package!

    They are super helpful and nice!!!!

    We used Sue Lynch Photography...  www.suelynchphotography.com - loved her work and working with her.  She's super laid back and high energy and so much fun to work with.  And her prices are totally reasonable, and packages come with full rights to the photos, which was so important to me.  She's flexible and willing to work with your schedule and get you the images you want.
