Bridesmaid colors: What do you think?

FI and I thought we were set on using the following colors for bridesmaids, all from David's Bridal, each wearing one color:  sangria, lapis, pewter, and marine.  Now I am not sure if I want to, the pewter is throwing me off when I see the colors together.  Honest opinion, do you think it might look crazy?  I have found flowers that will coordinate it all together.

i want to do all different colors for each of my bridesmaids dresses too, but since i want my theme to be peacock feathers i was thinking of doing olive green, gold or brown, plum and teal (but all the same style dress.)  i don't want my bridesmaids to look exactly alike and i think about how good i thought miranda, samantha and charlotte looked in the sex and the city movie at carries wedding and am so excited!
honestly, when i first read your colors i didn't think they were going to look good together at all. but when i put each of the dresses up next to each other i thought it looked okay. i do see what you're saying about the pewter though, it doesn't really go with the other colors. but i love that marine color! also did you look at wisteria? for a few days i was thinking about doing 2 girls in wisteria and the other two in lapis.
    good luck!

LOL!  Yes, the ladies from Sex & the City looked fab in their dresses!  That is pretty much what I was thinking also because I am against the bridesmaids all looking the same (can you tell I went to Catholic school? LOL).  I even had FI watch that section of the movie (again) to prove my point.  FYI- He is completely psyched about the color idea.  Yup, I am thinking about Wisteria but am also thinking of regrouping the colors and def keep marine and lapis and search for two other.
Your color palette sounds great!  I really appreciate your honest thoughts..I knew I was not crazy about the pewter...I have even thought about putting black in its place after the segment in the movie again..IDK..we'll get there.
