Hotel reviews?

My parents were in town this weekend and we went to check out some hotels to block rooms for the wedding.  We were impressed by several of the hotels, and didn't get to look at many more.  Has anyone stayed at the following hotels or used them for wedding guests (all on the plaza)?  Holiday Inn, Marriott, and Embassy Suites.  Any places on the plaza/downtown you would NOT recommend?

    I have heard great things about all of them---but the only one I've had experience with is The Marriott and it was a great experience!! The rooms were really nice. I plan on looking at a couple and just going with whatever has rooms available and is the closest to my recepetion place!

    I wanted to reserve a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn but their contract requires you to carry insurance that covers the actions of your guest who stay there.  That may be standard in the industry but that just didn't seem right to me so I didn't do it.  

    I did have several guest who stayed their and just booked their own rooms and it was fine from what I heard.  It also has free parking which is a plus.
