Ok ladies...
So I have a question...how far is too far?
I am thinking of getting married at a church in Upland,CA and having our reception in Corona, CA.
There is only a 15 mile difference BUT it requires you to get on 2 freeways.
Do you think that is doing too much?
I was looking at churches in Corona and one that I did the distance was 10 miles away and another was 32 miles away.
If I have the reception to immediately follow the ceremony (with guests being served appetizers and drinks), would this distance be ok?
Thoughts please.
TIA!

If you go that route you may have more people at the reception than at your ceremony...but you may experience that even if the 2 places weren't that far apart. We plan on having our ceremony and reception at the same spot and the owner at one of the facilities told FI and I that we don't have to rent a lot of ceremony chairs because everyone isn't going to come to the ceremony like they will the reception (I thought to myself..."how rude"..but I guess that's the reality of it...)
You are on one for like 4 miles and the other for about 6 miles. I am looking to see if there is another church closer BUT we will see.

Where are most of your guests coming from?

It should be cool but whatever you do please provide directions!!! At my brother-in-law's wedding (fi's brother) this past weekend nobody new how to get to the cerremony site or reception site (many of whom are from the area) we tried the following game but stop lights happen and people get separated. I don't think people will mind the drive as long as they don't get lost!
If you provide them I think it should be just fine.
