Chiavari Chair Safety!

Help! My mom is freaking out!

I really really want to use mohagany chiavari chairs for my outdoor wedding. Everything was fine til one of my moms co-workers asked her if the chairs would sink into the grass, or if they were sturdy enough. So now my mom is saying that its a safety issue because what if one breaks because of the uneven-grassy land its going to be on.

Is this true? Please help!

    I've never heard of this before. If they weren't safe for outdoors, than vendors wouldn't sell or use them, because it's a liability.
