I'd really like to purchase a straw cloche for our engagement photos in August. I love cloches and I think a straw one would be so romantic and summery. I'm having the toughest time finding some online though! I found one, and it's $165 USD (ouch!) but it's absolutely beautiful.

Does anyone else know where I could find one for cheaper? Here's the $165 one.

I don't know if these ones are as gorgeous as the one you posted, but there's a few on Anthropologie in the mid $30's - check page 1 and 2 specifically for cloche's!

Thanks Laura! i'm definitely going to consider that one. One person mentioned the brim was a bit floppy, but for the price, maybe I can handle it

anyone else know any good hatmakers or etsy sellers or anyone who has straw cloches? Regular cloches are easy enough to find, but I can't seem to find the straw ones.

I can't help with the sourcing, but I have to say how jealous I am that you look good in a cloche. I adore they way they look on other people, but they just look ridiculous on my fat head. *sad face*.

I own a regular cloche and it's my standard fall/winter hat. I'm so sad that it's hot outside right now because I miss it! I never see any other girls wear them and I get compliments on it all the time! I actually bought mine at Target but last time I checked they didn't have any more. The straw cloche is cute and I do miss mine so maybe I'll also check out a summer version.

I saw a straw one yesterday at Claire's! I don't know if they have that store in Japan, but you could see if they sell online. It was straw but had an ugly ribbon. I'm sure you could yank it off, though.
