Plates!!!

Who is using disposable?  Who is renting china?  Who is using real?  We are getting catered food from Hickory Park and if memory serves me right I think they just give us styrofoam plates ... totally tacky?!?!?!?  Will anyone really care???

    Our reception venue provides real plates/silverware so that is what we are going with. I think it would depend on what type of reception you are having/where it is, you know what I mean? I mean I had a friend who had a very small wedding/reception and had Hy-Vee cater in. They didn't use real plates and used plastic silverware, but it also wasn't a super fancy reception, so it didn't look out of place either. It didn't bother me that the place settings weren't real and I don't think it bothered other people either.

    I'm not sure, I guess I would ask Hickory park for a sample of what they will use and decide from there.

    We have very thick plastic plates, we got from Smartyhadaparty.com

    When I get home i'll find the link, and post pictures!
