Checks & Favor Opinions

This week I finally paid for the venue and booked the honeymoon. LOL that's all I've practically done. I started looking for caterers and photgraphy and places to print out my invitations, BUT NO LUCK =(.

QUESTION & OPINIONS: How essential are the candy favors??? I was going for the personalized M&M's in a clear cone but thats gonna come out to $250 which is not bad, but in the great scheme of things it is. Should I just do plain M&M's? Since the wedding is outside I fear they'll melt, but I can't think of another candy I like, I'm not a mint or gum person and jordan almonds have been OVER done in my family? OPINIONS??

I can only think of very few people that don't enjoy M&Ms.

If you don't think personalized M&Ms are necessary, don't get them. It's not worth the extra money if you don't think it's worth it.

You can always leave the candies in a refridgerated area, or inside until it gets dark out (if yoyu are having a night wedding), and hand them out later in the evening.

It's a day thing 11-3. I experimented one day and bought a pack, placed them in a freezer over night and placed them outside in the shade for 4 hours (lol! The FI says I'm his little scientist). They hadn't melted but were getting there.

I really don't think you will have a problem with the M & M's melting in March, especially if you freeze them before like you said you did in your little experiment. If you don't want to do the full on personalized M&M's you can always get them from candy stores in your wedding colors without the saying on them.
