Honeymoon

Hi!

Do you ladies have any recommendations on a travel agent?  We are trying to decide where to go our honeymoon.  Any suggestions? Something in the $3000 for both.

Thanks!

No suggestion on a travel agent but we spent about half of that on flight and hotel in NYC for ours.

Do you have a destination in mind?

My FI and I are planning to go to Hawaii for 6 days/ 5 nights for approximately $2800 for air, hotel and rental car staying at a 5 star resort. We are using Expedia to book it.

My FI and I are booking 5 nights all inclusive to Playa Del Carmen through Sue at West Side Travel for around $1800.00. They have been great to work with there and have answered all of my emails promptly. She is also our wedding coordinator through the venue we're using :)

I just booked our honeymoon through Sue at Getaway Travel!  I was dealing with several agents but she was the one who earned my business.  She had lots of suggestions and loads of pictures of places she had been.  Good luck!

I've used Debbie at All Destinations Travel with great success...

I've also used Cheap Caribbean with great success.  It was recommended to us from family friends (who travel ALOT).  You can book online or call and talk to an agent for no extra charge.  They are also available to call from your destination 24 hours a day if you have any problems.  FI booked our honeymoon through Cheap Caribbean.

We booked our honeymoon to NYC ourselves although we had looked at Expedia and Travelocity.  We got 8/9 nights and roundtrip non stop on American for about that much.  Our hotel was downtown (so away from a lot of the things we wanted to do) but it came with a free full breakfast every morning.  Good luck!

We went to St. Kitts. It's a gorgeous island and not too terribly touristy. Most of the people there were European and hilarious I might add. You can stay at the Marriott right on the beach for much less than your budget. The trick here may be flights. They're pretty limited, so the prices could get high. We used miles to buy award tickets.

We used Travelocity and our trip was about $2,000.00 for the both of us (included flgihts and hotels and some other amenities) for 9 days/8 nights in Prague and Vienna.  I think we lucked out because it was "off" season there.

Our travel agent was fab to work with!!!! we found her through an open house at the country club where we are having the reception.
