Blueprint Cleanse??

Has anyone here done the Blueprint Cleanse?  I have a fellow bride friend who did it and does it once a week to maintain and she is a skinny minnie!  I am a picky eater and don't even like lemon in my water so I'm not sure I could do it.  Does anyone have any other suggestions to give your body a fresh start or get started on a healthy eating plan, particularly for the wedding?

Re: Blueprint Cleanse??

  • Would you take diet pills?  I've tried everything under the sun and the only thing that's ever worked for me is Oxy Elite Pro.  I lost 10 lbs the first month using it (along with working out and eating good).  I didn't get shakes/jitters with it but that may be because I typically drink a lot of coffee throughout the day - although with this you can not have any extra caffeine.  Anyway, read some reviews on GNC's site about it and give it a try - you can always return it if you don't like it.  PM me if you have any questions!

  • Don't waste your money on gimmick diets, pills, cleanses, etc.  They're not healthy or effective for the long-term.  Cleanses strip your body of essential nutrients and electrolytes and just make you sh*t a lot haha.

The only healthy way to lose weight and maintain it is to eat real, fresh food, and exercise.  Cut out sugar, processed foods (artificial sweeteners included), and junk food.  Eat tons of lean protein, green veggies, and fiber.  Drink lots of water and get regular sleep!

  • I'm a picky eater so I don't think I could handle a cleanse. I'm not looking to lose more than a few pounds and I exercise but have trouble eating well. So if anyone has healthy eating suggestions, like specific meals they eat, I'd love to hear it!

DON'T DO THIS. I don't need to sit here & lecture either one of you about the dangers of diet pills. Today, it's common knowledge how badly it ravages your body. You are doing more harm than good. Don't do any crash diets, colonics or crazy cleanses. Ever notice how all of those cleansing programs say 'eliminate toxins from your body.' Do any of them ever tell you WHICH toxins? No, because as the PP said, all it does is make you poop like crazy. That's what makes you lose weight. <div>
</div><div>Healthy eating and exercise are the only way. Juicing is very good for you, but it's not a meal replacement. You can look up juicing recipies that include the fruit/veggies that you like & add that in to a healthy breakfast. </div><div>
</div><div>ETA: I just saw your post asking for meal plans. My suggestion is to go to the Getting in Shape board. Those women are really great. I'm vegan, so I'm not sure you'd be on board for my meals :D</div>
  • <div>I have done BluePrint in prep for a friends wedding and I loved it! if you are worried about liking the juices, maybe order a sample pack and taste them first before committing to a full-out cleanse. (depending on where you live, you may be able to find the juices at whole foods). otherwise, their book (its on the bpc website) has really delicious recipes for raw foods and smoothies and juices - maybe you could modify your own cleanse based on what is best for you. i will say, afterwards, i felt amazing and it gave me the motivation, inspiration, and discpline needed to get back on track with eating right and exercising. i def encourage checking it out. my friend also did their bpbride program - i am not sure all it entails, but she got nutrition consultations and sicounted cleanses as part of the program.</div><div>
