Shofar Beckon Call

My fiance wants one of his groomsmen to blow the shofar shortly before our ceremony begins. I'm going to discuss it with our rabbi later this week, but I was wondering if anyone has ever seen this at a wedding before?

i LOVE this idea! i've never seen it done, but i've heard of it, and i think it sounds amazing.

i'm going to see if FI will agree to this for us.
