I'm getting married in June but am starting to try and figure detailed logistics for the wedding. I know where I am ordering for the Bride and Groom's cake and what it'll look like. What I don't know is how many servings to estimate and/or budget for; because that's what dictates the pricing. We are inviting 300 people and with each bride's cake, a grooms cake is free and serves at least half of what bride's cake serves. The number of tiers doesn't matter and I also know I might get a better picture of how many the closer to the wedding.
So how many servings do you order for the Bride but not have too many for the Groom. What did you do or think?
