Cakeology Communications

Hi so I am trying to book Cakeology for my wedding and have been getting an answer of I'll get to it soon for my contract for almost two weeks.  I was wondering if anyone else has had issues getting a contract out of them before.  I also had issues when trying to book a tasting originally and am now getting skeptical and thinking I should reconsider my options.  Any opinions out there? Thanks in advance!

Re: Cakeology Communications

  • I visited three different cake places.  Each was ready to contract at the initial consultation.  Once I settled on Johnny Cakes in Andover (johnnycakes.net).  I sent an email to him, and within 24 hours he called back to set up our meeting for signing of the contract.  We booked our cake two days later.
I would be a bit concerned.  If they arent getting back to you in a timely manor now, before you have even booked them, whos to say you wont have more issues down the road.  They should be chasing you.... not the other way around.  Might be best to keep shopping around.
    Good Luck!!

  • I also contacted Cakeology by the time they got back to me (over 3 weeks) I had already booked with Amanda Oakleaf.  Her cupcakes are seriously amazing! If you go to the website http://oakleafcakes.com/flavors she has so many flavors.  We loved the chocolate peanut butter cupcake, red velvet, carrot cake and oddly enough...lemon.  She uses real lemon and it shows.  We haven't had our wedding yet by I have been stopping by about once a month to pick up flavors for us to try and we have not been disappointed yet.  Hope this helps!
  • Thanks! She finally got back to me but I already have been looking around.  I'll leave her in my picks for the time being but I think we are going elsewhere.  Not sure where yet but we'll see. I'll be looking into the place you mentioned. :)
