  The other day a friend of mine from Long Island asked me a question from her post in the Long Island board...and then I ended up writing two posts later to the brides in Long Island!  seems once I entered that board, it saved it as my favorite, so when I logged back into The Knot it automatically pulled up the Long Island board.
