Which shoes go better with the reception dress?

I will wear the dress without the shoulder strap (click dress to enlarge) and
I'm stuck with Badgley Mischka Idol Strappy Sandal, Silver(picture below)

and ELLIE (gladiator style sandals) in silver :

Thank you and I really appreciate your help! :)

As much as I love the gladiator, it looks like it might be more uncomfortable and has potential to snag on your dress. I'd probably go with the strappy sandal.

  • Agree with PP. Strappy for sure.
  • Honestly, the gladiator ones look a little.. inappropriate to me.. I'm not a fan anyway because for they look more like stripper heels (sorry), but I like the basic Bagleys... Especially because I think they will be able to be worn more later on.

I think both look beautiful and would complement your dress very nicely, but the first one looks as if it would provide more support for standing, dancing, etc.
  • #1, strappy sandle.
  • I voted for the strappy. The gladiators are honestly a little too much. They don't look as comfortable and they might even be hidden by the long dress. You also probably wouldn't have many other opportunities to wear them.

  • I LOVE those freaking gladiators.  The first ones are nice, but not as special to me.
  • Def the strappy. Sorry, but the gladiator ones do not look like wedding shoes.
