Bridal Beauty on Location

I take back my earlier reviews.  After receiving my pro pics back, and looking at my makeup, I couldn't be more disappointed.  The difference between my trial and the wedding day are night and day.  In my wedding photos it looks like I have no eye shadow on, brown eyeliner/mascara was used instead of black, there are concealer marks that were not blended in, the fake lashes are FAR too long and just look stupid, etc.  I look horrible in every picture I have looked at.  I can't believe I actually looked like that on my wedding day.  I'm totally crushed.

    That is too bad.  I just booked them for my wedding in July of next year, but I am just going to use them for hair.  How were they with your hair and your bridesmaids?

    I'm so sorry you're unhappy Mel. :(  But I'm sure it wasn't that bad!  If you didn't notice it day of, no one else did either.  You're noticing the flaws now because you're looking for them, and we're always 100x more critical of ourselves!  I'm sure you looked like a beautiful, glowing, happy bride on your wedding day, and I bet that's all anyone else saw. :)

    Hair:  At my trial the hair was perfect so we booked the girl who did our trial (Kristy).  But, the day of the wedding, there was no Kristy to be found.  They sent another girl, and I have to say I was less than impressed w/ her ability to do hair.  My makeup artist ended up doing some of the hair (including mine) and I liked my hair, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted.

    Oh Melanie, I'm sorry to hear you feel that way.  After looking through your photos (sorry I didn't email you back), you look beautiful and everything looks fantastic.

    However, I do think its crappy that they sent someone other than the person who did your hair trial.  Isn't that the point of a trial anyway?

    I agree with PP though....you are being overly critical, you looked gorgeous!
