Where are your gifts going after the wedding?

We asked FIL's to house our wedding gifts at their home during the HM. We live in a really nice neighborhood but there was a burglary over the weekend and we don't feel comfortable leaving an apartment full of gifts for 10 days with no one there.

We will open gifts at the IL's when we return and bring them home at that time. They are pretty excited about our opening the gifts with them.

I think we'll be having our gifts taken back to our house. My parents live close enough to house-sit for us while we're away on the HM. And we'll open gifts when we get back as well

Ours are just going to our house; the venue manager will put them in our Jeep during the evening and we'll just take them with us.

Our house is on the way to the inn where we're spending the night.

My parents are keeping ours. We'll pick them up the Monday after the HM when we come to get my cat. The cards are coming with us. $$$

We are spending our first night in our home, since we have to get up super early for our flight we didn't want to spend the extra $$ and not be able to enjoy the hotel. So our gifts will go home with us where we will open them and like othes have said, take the cards/$$$ and head out of town! We'll sort out everything when we come home.

When we registered we had all of the gifts sent to my/parent's home since FI was moving and unstable living situation. So because of that I have been opening most of them and so I think he's a little excited to open some too!

They'll be coming back to our house.
My mom lives right downstairs so I'm not worried about anything.

Probably going back to my parents' house or ours, we don't leave until the Monday after the wedding, so we might even open them the next day!

Either they will come back with my sister in my car or with my stepmom and we will get them when we get back.

Hopefully we don't get too many physical boxes/gifts (had a small registry so people would get the hint). But if we do, it'll just go home with us, and then to his brother's apt for storage.

I'm just going to get my brother to come by every day and check to make sure we don't have anything sitting on the porch. He lives less than 5 minutes away, so it shouldn't be a big deal.

All the gifts will go my parents right after the wedding. As guests from Oregon leave (those who are driving) some will be taking back what they can fit in their cars. We will take the rest in our car once we get back from the honeymoon. Then we will have the chore of gathering them all back up

We will just be taking them to our house. We are having a family member come by once a day to check on our house while we are on our honeymoon.

Gifts will be coming back to our house. My mom really wants us to do an opening but I am hoping to skip it. We leave for the HM on Sunday and we're driving around 2 hours so we can get on the road whenever we feel like it.
