Wedding Gown Type

So I started going wedding dress shopping and I am in between a Sheath Dress and a Fitted Trumpet/Fit & Flare dress....Being 5 feet I want a dress that makes me look tall (haha)

I'm 5'1" and I *love* the fit-and-flare gown that I wound up purchasing... but really, no one can tell you what type will be best for you without you going and trying them on.

I tried on a variety of dresses, and while some of them looked fantastic on me, they weren't what I was comfortable in... for another petite bride, those dresses may have been perfect for me.

I suggest going dress shopping with an open mind... the dress I bought wasn't on my favorites list, and wasn't even my favorite when I first put it on.

I agree with pp. Find some dress pics that you like in diffrent shapes, and try tham on. You may be suprised at how it turns out.

I thought that I wanted a more fitted dress but ended up with something completly different and  I LOVE it!

I went with a soft ballgown/full a-line dress which wasn't what I was looking for but fell in love with the way it fit me.
Try on everything you love because once you buy it, it's yours! I'm still thinking about a dress that I never did try it on or even saw in person!
