Hello girls - I was just married on Sunday (9-5) and wanted to share my vendor reviews for anyone who is still looking for vendors in the area.
Yorktowne Hotel - A++++
I cannot say enough about the service we recieved at the Yorktowne. They worked with us from day 1 on acheiving our dream wedding. They were always available and responsive and did whatever it took to make us happy. They even filled in for at our ceremony (off-site) when the staff members there left! Our reception was beautiful, the service was amazing, and our guests did not stop raving about how great it was. They even went as far as packing up our car for us with gifts and our decorations the next day so we wouldn't have to lift a finger. I cannot recommend the Yorktowne enough.
York Revolution Stadium - D
We had our ceremony on-field, and while the location and atmosphere was spectacular - service was horrible. The GM of the stadium was our last contact, as their staff kept quitting. He was rude, forgetful, and downright unprofessional at times. Our rehearsal dinner was messed up, the rehearsal itself was not set up as promised, and his attitude was bad pretty much all the time. We did not trust that our ceremony would be ok, so that is why we had the girls from the Yorktowne come and run our ceremony for us.
Shaeffer Florist in York - A
Our flowers were beautiful and everything that I wanted. The only downfalls were very minor - I had asked for no greens to be included, and the guys bouts had greens on them. Everything else was great. They were on time, the bouquets were great, and the colors were exactly as promised. I highly recommend them. They also were able to accomodate last minute changes for me.
Providence Spotts Bakery - A+
The cake was exactly what we asked for, and it looked beautiful and tasted great!
Premiere 1 Limousine (Harrisburg) - A++
Hands down, the best thing I spent money on! We had the limo bus because we needed to fit 28 people in it, and it was worth every penny. The bus was spotless, the driver was on time, was very nice and helpful, and even had a cooler waiting and ready to go for us. Our bridal party loved being in the party bus. The company even sent the bus and driver to our ceremony location in advance to do a run-through and make sure they knew exactly what was going on. They did a perfect job!

Kate is fabulous. She was so easy to work with, showed up on time, and stayed all day. She was never "in your face" but I know she was getting every shot we wanted. She was extremely detail oriented and had a listing of each family photo we wanted so that we wouldn't miss anything. I recommend her 100%.
Complete Music (lancaster) - A
The music was great! Jason did a fabulous job. I didn't love the amount of "explaining" he did prior to the bouquet and garter toss - so maybe ask about that if you book with them. Other than that, our guests were on the dancefloor all night!
