Boudiour pics.

I have seen several girls post on here about getting these photos done.

Jenny-I see you are thinking about doing these with either Genevive N or Tami Musick. I am also interested in those two photographers and wanted to coordinate a marathon session. I have the prices with discounts related to how many girls are in the session for Tami but I am not aware of the prices for a marathon session for Genevieve or if thats even possible. What do you think about this?

If anyone has used Tami before how did the pics come out for just using a hotel room? I just have been wondering what the backround would be looking like with a simple hotel room?

    I am also trying to decide what to do, and would like to get these done in late May or early June.  I am thinking of going with Genevive, because the studio she uses is AMAZING!  I know Tami is much cheaper, but when it comes down to it, I dont want them to look like pictures I could have taken in my own bedroom.  I will check with the secretary at Genevives studio and see if she will give a discount to any people that go in together?  Right now the session I want to book with her is $150, but then I want to add on a small album and a 12 month calender.  The whole thing will be about $450.  Yikes! BUT, you pay for the session upfront so the entire cost will be paid in parts.....Does anyone have pics of a hotel room used my Tami??

    I think Tami is great!! She is super nice and helpful and does not make anything uncomfortable. She is good with posing you and works well to collaborate ideas.
    I rented a hotel room, so the room will depend on what you rent. There are different things you can do with bed shots, chair shots, window shots, wall shots... you can come up with some good stuff... Its about creativity. Remember ladies the background is not the most important. Its about how sexy you look in your picture and the photographer capturing it.

    My b-session with Tami was part of a marathon and the location was this super cool mansion in Shaker Hts w/ beautiful architectural detailing. My favorite was the billiards room. The marathon was part of a fundraiser for the Komen 3-Day breast cancer walk though, so I'd bet she was able to pull some strings to get such an amazing location. There are pics on her blog under Dare2Bare marathon.

    I would guess that whenever her next fundraiser marathon would be (sometime before August/Sept whenever the walk happens maybe?), she' d be able to get another unique spot. Even that same house would be AWESOME. If you are looking to secure a location for a marathon shoot, know that besides hotels, there are several B&B's in the area that would be nice backdrops. Oh, and don't worry too much about background. The photos should feature YOU.  :)

    My session with Tami is this weekend. We are working from my house, which I feel more comfortable doing. I do know that she is doing another marathon in the next month, because she offered it to me but I dont know anyone who would go in with me. And the timing was better to have my pictures by my May wedding.
    I have to agree with lanelle it's not about the background. He wont even be looking at that.

    Thanks girls!  I asked Tami about a marathon session in Late May or early June, and there wont be one until September. Thats too close to my wedding to chance it.  Also, there is only 1 other girl wanting to go in for a hotel with me, so I might end up paying more if I do that.  Oh well, I will have a great time doing this no matter who I go with! :)

    I decided to book with Tammy and am excited. May I ask if you got a book made? How was it? The prices are so reasonable I cant belive it.

    Also I looked at your wedding page and see Pastor Buckeye married you. SMall world he is marrying me and is my finace step father!

    Just had my photo shoot with Tami this morning, and it was great. I was so nervous at first. But before I knew it all my nerves went away. She brought some pictures for ideas of poses. And she tried to make sure we got all the photos we wanted. And she had ideas as we went. Cant wait to see the finished product.
    Good Luck and have fun. I did go and have my hair and make-up done for the session.Something you might think of doing.

    I am getting a book from Tami as soon as I pick my pictures which i must say turned out FABULOUS!!! So excited about that. I can let you know how the book looks when I get it. She told me that she will add special messages and quotes throughout which is awesome and she makes it scrapbook style digitally where the page is a picture with pictures on it. I love it! Its a steal for the $  spent.

    I cant wait to hear about the book. I am to going to go with her just trying to decide on a date. I want to get one made to and was so impressed with her prices to have that done. Please fill me in once you get it back:)

    okay stacy. Keep my email lanelle09@yahoo.com and I will update you. Shoot me over an email. I am sending Tami my picks today with quotes and a note to my fiance so hopefully i will have the proof soon. I think the book will be awesome! Especially for the price.

    I got my book proof back... and I must say it is amazing!! she did so much for the money I had paid. I LOVE it! If anyone is interested just email me and I will send you a link. my email is lanelle09@yahoo.com. She added quotes, a personal message. It is so great. I am soooo happy about it!!

    Just got my pics back from Tami today, and I must say...............I LOVE THEM!! I am so surprised and happy with the results. I couldn't hold my tongue and told the FI, I'm going to let him pic the shots he wants.
