Pissed - need to vent and need advice

I was working with a vendor that is included in my package to do linens.  I picked the table cloths and chair covers out, and that should be done with.  However, I was going to make some upgrades to do draping with them also.  I met with the vendor a little over a month ago to decide on how to do the decor for my ceremony.  I am supposed to be getting the quote for the upgrades, however, at first the lady went on vacation, then her mother was sick, then I got an email saying she'll try to get a quote asap, but she's waiting to hear back from the people she uses.  Its been over a month since we met, and still nothing.  I called today, and someone else picked up and said she's on vacation again, and since my wedding is in november she still has time to work on it.  I just don't get it, and don't know what to do.

Should I talk to my hotel coordinator about this problem since the linens are in my package through the hotel?  Should I just find someone new?  Although, I will still have to use this particular vendor as she's in my package.

Ahhh!!!  I'm so pissed.  I just want to have this out of the way already.

    Talk to the Hotel... If not talk to a manager to get the pricing or if you have a planner let them call for you. Though don't go anywhere else if the pricing is already included in your package.

    Definitely try to talk to someone else. That is so frustrating when you can't get an answer.

    Ugh, that is so annoying!  Is there any one else that can help you there or is she the main person? Did the person you talked to today tell you when the lady is supposed to come back from her vacation?  If it's in a few days, I would just hold up and call her again when she gets back, asking if you can get the quote by x date.  You never know, it might be the people that she uses who are the ones that are holding the quote up.  If she doesn't give you a quote by next week though, I'd call your hotel coordinator, tell them about the delays you've expereinced, and ask if they have another vendor that you could use for the draping that would be included in your package.

    The lady on the phone said Sept 8!  I cannot wait that long.  I think I'm gonna take up this issue with the hotel and ask their advice.  I'm using the same colored linens and on the seats to also drape.  If I use someone else, it may not match :(

    Ya I would use them but talk to the hotel coordinator. After all they need feedback for the vendors they are forcing on people. It really bothers me when vendors say "oh you have more than enough time if your weding is in x month"!!! Um don't they know we need to have these things in our budgets! UGH! Very annoying, good luck!
