What are you working on?

I know it has been kind of slow around here and I've been kind of MIA so I figured I would do a little check in to see where everyone is at right now :)

I'm a month out and right now I desperately need to finish designing the ceremony programs and just get them done. Also, finalize the favors with he Chocolate Moose, and finish the seating arrangement. And that is just what's on my immediate to do list :P


What about the rest of you?

    We are having our engagement pictures taken in Newburyport on Sunday.
    I've been bored at home, I really need to get back to work, so I've been working on DIY projects. The most recent project has been table numbers, you can see my post on the June 11 board. 

    Other than that not much wedding stuff.
    We are preparing to paint the bathroom next week and I've been doing sewing projects.

    Wow...you are getting so close---so exciting to be thinking about seating charts and programs!  I'll be there in about 11 months from now.

    So far, we have booked:
    - ceremony/reception venue
    - musician for ceremony
    - DJ
    - uplighting
    - reserved bus to shuttle guests
    - reserved block of hotel rooms

    This week, we met with a possible videographer, (New Creations Video Productions-Nashua).  We also had our 3rd dress shopping trip on Wednesday and might have found "the one" at Modern Bridal in Bedford.  We're going back there again on Saturday to look at it again, and to try on one other dress that was suggested by a friend.  Need to fill out the contracts for the videographer and get them back to him with a $400 deposit.  He's probably the only one within our price range--everyone else was just way too expensive and out of our reach.

    I think that the next thing that I'll be working on (wedding related), will be trying to pick out bridesmaid dresses/colors.  I still have not chosen colors yet---keep flip flopping and have decided that it will be determined once we pick out the BM dresses.  Labor Day weddings are so hard---more like summer or more like fall??  Based upon this year, I think we'll lean more towards "early fall".  I want to use sunflowers along with other flowers in the wedding/reception, so need to use colors that will be "sunflower friendly".  I really like a soft "rosy" pink too....so maybe I'll try to find a way to mix soft pink with the sunflowers??  After the BM dresses and colors are picked, I'll set up an appointment with the florist and start shopping for cakes.  I know that I will be using Jacques Fine European Bakery for the cake, and will probably use Daffodils for our florist, since they are close to our venue in Jaffrey  Other than wedding stuff, just trying to do chores around the house and getting ready for classes to start up again next week.

    Well, I need to work on the following:

    Escort cards
    Seating arrangement
    Finish up RB and Parent gifts
    Decide if I'll have time to make programs

    I'm sure there's 10000 other things, but I don't want to think about it right now haha.

    I'm currently in the middle of a ton of DIY projects that I need to get finished before I start classes in a few weeks.
    I'm currently working on:
    -Card box
    -Bridesmaid hangers
    -Crayons for the kids
    -Pen holder
    -Program baskets
    -Cake table letters - might be done but not sure
    I have issues finishing projects apparently

    I am 13 days out and freaking out a bit.  We need to:

    Fill our favor boxes with the Lindt truffles and tie the ribbon
    print up our programs (going to use staples for printing and assembly)
    finish OOT boxes (will be done tonight)

    I think that may be it....holy moley....I may actually pull this one off.

    I have to finish assembling programs and work on table numbers.  Guest book cards are being printed this week.  Second fitting is tomorrow.  I am waiting on favor tags to arrive from vistaprint then I will cut the ribbon for favors, probally need to buy more ribbon too.
