Last fall my fiance and I hired Jessica Ball to do the photos for our upcoming wedding on October 1st. We were very impressed with her work, price and overall personality. In June I recieved a phone call from another photographer who was taking over Jessica's weddings due to some health issues that Jessica was having. We never recieved a phonecall from Jessica personally letting us know of this issue and we were never offered our money back (we paid a deposit as well as additional money since our booking with her). Today, after being told in June that she wouldn't be able to send us our refund until the beginning of August and making several attempts to contact her, we are still awaiting a refund, phone call and/or email from Jessica. I felt that it was important to warn brides who are in the process of looking for a photographer about what we encountered.
