Clarisonic Mia

Does anyone have reviews on this product? I'm thinking about purchasing one with my gift cards for Christmas!

Re: Clarisonic Mia

  • Life changing.  Ok that may be a bit much, but skin changing for sure, and one of my better investments.   Just don't use the face wash that comes with it.
  • Can you use any face wash? Also, does it seem to help with minimal acne problems and old marks?

  • I bought one and love it. I have noticed old acne scars are not as noticable as well as less breakouts. Espeically my cistic acne on my cheeks. I have used all sorts of cleansers with it.

  • It's great for cystic acne especially, and it really seems to help absorption of serums and creams too.  I use Murad with it b/c I can get a little oily, but people with normal skin swear by cetaphil and Purity by Philosophy.
  • Awesome thanks. I bought the Murad two weeks ago and used it 4 times and my face dried out so bad and irritated around my mouth so much that it was sore. I emailed them and they told me to stop using it. I may try using it more sparatic cause I hate paying for something that I can't use.

This is why I always buy from Sephora.  Their return policy is very generous, and I've  returned quite a few things because I reacted to the products, or just because I was "meh" about the results.  Maybe try just using it at night, and then applying a nice rich night cream?
  • Thanks I will try that. Your right about Sephora, never again will I buy somewhere else!

  • I love my MIA.  Last week FI gave me a hug and mentioned that my skin felt so smooth.  You can use any type of cleaner, but I like foaming ones, it makes me feel like I'm getting a more clean feeling
  • Thanks everyone! I will definately purchase one with my gift cards I'm getting for Christmas!!!

  • Hey I just wanted to help because I have also been considering a Mia for some time now.  I don't know where your gift cards are for, but if they are just general gift cards then Askderm.com is the cheapest place I have found to buy a mia.  You can use the code "hugebf" and get 27% off which makes it $86.87 or you can use the code "FREE39256" and it is 20% off but you also get a free brush head.

Like I said, I haven't gotten one yet but just wanted to share the research I have done to try to get the best deal!

  • I just got the MIA I ordered from QVC in the mail today. I wish I had read this before I ordered it, so I could have gotten the better deal. I can't wait to see what it does for my skin. I have high hopes.

  • I would love to try this, but I'm worried about my cleanser.  My cleanser has glycolic acid - do you think the brush and the glycolic acid would cause my face to fall off?  What are some of the other cleansers people use besides Philosophy and Cetaphil?
