Good morning ladies!

Hope you are all safe and warm. We ended up with about 2.5ft of snow here. It's stopped now and it's bright and sunny, but crazy cold!

I think I'm going to do some errands today, since I was stuck inside all day yesterday.

    Good Morning!

    I usually get off work around 4 on Fridays, but because of my boss's surgery I was told it would probably be closer to 4:30.  At 5, my boss said it might be closer to 5:30.  I finally got off work at 6:30.  I was so annoyed.  I never mind working late, but when I'm told one time, and then end up working later than that time I get frustrated.  I ended up getting home after my mom's party had started, but it was still fun.

    My mom has such cool friends.  I ended up drinking 2 glasses of champagne and fell asleep by 8:30 though.  I know my alcohol tolerance has lowered a lot since my college days, but it was kind of depressing to wake up at 4, realizing I had missed most of the party because I'm such a lightweight.

    Also, my cousin is coming to visit today!  He moved from across the country to a town 3 hours away last month, but we haven't made it down to see him yet so I'm glad he's coming up here.  I have no idea if he's bringing his family (partner/common-law wife, 4 yo girl, 18 month old son) or not, and no idea how long he's staying, but it will be good to see him!

    I hate when I fall asleep and miss the fun! I went to Zumba this am and now I am parked on the couch watching a chick flick marathon on usa. FI is working. Boo. Hope everybody is surviving the snowstorm.

    I hope you all affected by the storm are coping.

    I worked 1/2 shift this AM and then went to the gym.  I think I am seeing some change (in body shape) tho not on the actual scale.

    Just finished shoveling.  We got just about 30 inches.  My arm is sore.

    We didn't get hit very hard, and what we did get all fell Friday morning. I need to go out and get groceries at some point before we all starve.

    tlc -- I'm in the same boat.... Just turned on USA!

    Hey everyone! Hope you're all shovelled out!

    We left home around 11 this morning to spend the day snowmobiling (finally)! I got stuck twice (once was a tip over - oops!), went to a friends cabin which was about 50kms away, made a fire and hung out there for a while, and snowmobiled home.

    About 5km from home, FI's machine broke it's chain, and we had to tow it home. Very cold towing tonight, around -39 I think. After a hot meal and an even hotter bath, I intend to do nothing else tonight.

    Oh, and every inch of my upper body is sore from driving that 600lb machine! I got to go off trail and do some boondocking, but it's hard on the body!

    8am drama rehearsal tomorrow. I'm not going to be able to move!

    Haven't set foot outside since yesterday and it's been awesome, lol. I made risotto for the first time and H tried his hand at making mulled wine (turns out we're pretty good at both!) Watched some Food Network and Netflix documentaries and played with our cats. Tomorrow begins the year of the snake but our old guy (16-year-old desert kingsnake) already got his meal on Friday and we celebrated with my family last weekend so tomorrow should be pretty easygoing and lazy again. Might venture out though, just so we know what we're up against for our Monday commute.
